The Role:
This is a newly created role reporting to the Group Financial Controller. The role supports effective management control and decision making, enabling the organisation to plan, monitor, report and use its financial resources in an effective and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the delivery of the Group management accounts and the Subsidiary management accounts
- Delivering a range of commercial finance projects across the Group to support key strategic objectives
- Working alongside the Head of FP&A producing Group budgets and forecasts
- Conduct the monthly gross margin review and reconciliation process
- Analysis of the monthly group stock valuations and provisions
- Leading and developing the management accounts team in a proactive and supportive manner
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in a similar role including management accounts and business partnering
- A fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience of managing and developing teams
- Strong MS Office experience and knowledge including intermediate/advanced Excel
- A positive 'can do' attitude to establish key relationships with all stakeholders
- Able to work as part of a team as well as use own initiative
- Experience of using an ERP software package Navision desirable
- Ability to work in a fast paced and growing environment
- Experience of International Group with high numbers of SKUs whilst not essential would be great to have
Salary & Benefits:
- Circa £50,000- £56,000 + Benefits
