Are you a skilled Machinist/metalworker with a passion for precision? This exciting opportunity is for a Manual Machinist to join a prestigious luxury lighting Manufacturer.
We are seeking a talented Manual Machinist to contribute to the creation of exquisite, bespoke lighting products. You will work closely with the design and production teams to transform concepts into reality.
The company is a leading designer and manufacturer within the lighting industry working with top-tier clients worldwide from architects, designers and building contractors to luxury hotel chains. This role has been specifically created due to sheer demand and ambitious growth plans.
The role involves working to order specifications utilising hand tools and machinery. You need to be comfortable marking out, drilling & tapping, cutting and soldering, and using manual lathe and machine tools. You will produce high-quality products that comply with the client's requirements. You will collaborate with other departments and support peers and QC reporting to the head of department for non-conformities.

The Role:
- Precisely working to detailed drawings and specifications
- Operating manual lathes and utilising a range of hand tools
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

- Continuous improvement of processes and efficiency
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in a production or assembly environment
- Proficiency in operating manual lathes
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail
- A passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for quality
