Our client, a distinguished player in the motorcycle industry based in Hinckley, Leciestershire is currently seeking a Buyer for a 6-month contract position.
This is an on-site Buyer role, requiring full-time commitment at the Global Headquarters in Hinckley, Leicestershire working closely with the Head of After-sales Procurement and Procurement Leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with suppliers to negotiate and secure value for money on the company's Genuine Parts and Accessories range.
- Building effective stakeholder relationships, ensuring a high service level in terms of quotations, quality compliance and communication.
- Identifying savings opportunities through tenders, negotiations, and efficiency's.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient experience in procurement and buying within a supply chain context.
- Sourcing and negotiation experience and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience within an automotive or motorcycle industry
