Job Title: School First Aider

Salary: £90 - £105 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are currently recruiting a qualified First Aider to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Lambeth. This is a vital role within the school community, responsible for delivering first aid support to students and staff and assisting with general welfare and medical needs throughout the school day.
This full-time, term-time only position is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, well-organised, and passionate about student wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid to students and staff in accordance with school policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate records of incidents and treatments
- Managing the medical room and ensuring medical supplies are stocked and up to date
- Communicating with parents/carers regarding medical incidents or concerns
- Supporting students with ongoing medical conditions and administering medication where necessary
- Liaising with external medical services when required
Requirements:
- A valid and up-to-date First Aid qualification (e.g. Emergency First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid)
- Previous experience working with young people or within a school setting is desirable
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
- A calm, compassionate, and professional manner
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
