Our client, an established IT support company with over 23 years of experience, is seeking a skilled IT Field Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers variety and challenges, serving a diverse client base across multiple industries.
Position Overview:
- Based in Lancing office with regular travel to client sites (road and rail)
- Provide on-site support and installation services
- Manage desktop and laptop systems (Windows 8-10 Pro)
- Handle configurations and networking tasks
- Ensure efficient resolution of incidents, requests, and site maintenance
Requirements:
- Proven experience in 1st/2nd line IT Support
- Strong track record in on-site hardware and software installation
- Valid UK driving license
- Working knowledge of Windows Server 2012-2016 & Microsoft Exchange
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 2013+
- Familiarity with firewall/router configurations, business firewall ports, IPv4 & DNS
