We are working with our client to recruit for an ambitious Purchase Ledger Clerk to support the work of the wider Finance function. The company will provide AAT study support to the individual allowing them to progress further in their accounting career.
The Duties:
As Purchase Ledger Clerk, typical duties include:
- Recording Purchase invoices accurately on the system
- Ensuring invoices and credit notes are accurately coded to the relevant cost centre
- Monitoring and managing invoice posting with authorisation at correct level
- Handling invoice queries from colleagues and suppliers
- Reconciling supplier statements monthly
- Ensuring invoices/credit notes are scanned accurately
The Requirements:
Some Finance experience would be ideal, however if you are currently studying AAT and keen for your first step on the finance career ladder, our client can offer full training. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills are an essential for this role as well as a full UK driving license and access to a car. The individual will be enthusiastic, motivated, and open to learning lots of new skills.
