Full Stack Engineer – RawPHP
Looking for a full stack engineer to work on legacy code, you will need Raw PHP to maintain code base. This is working for a very successful, well established FinTech client. This is a challenging role and would suit an experienced engineer, someone who can take their time to review code, analyse and look at problems step by step.
Although this is a full stack role the client has indicated this is slightly more weight to the backend 70/30 spilt and they would be looking for someone who has worked extensively with raw PHP as the main language along with techstack:
PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, Linux.
As the full stack engineer you will be working on maintaining their post trade services application. Maintenance of legacy products, looking at maintaining the stack, minor improvements, bugs, looking at the functionality side of the product, taking part in penetration tests, helping to patch security vulnerabilities.
Working with raw PHP, Vanilla PHP the client do not have modern frameworks but they work their own custom built inhouse framework.
Our client is based in London and would like someone to be in the office twice per month.
