A dynamic company looking to add a skilled Office Administrator to their team on a temporary basis, with potential for a longer-term position.
This role is ideal for an organised and proactive individual who thrives in a busy environment. As the first point of contact for calls and visitors, you will provide essential administrative support to the HR department and play a crucial role in maintaining smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Reception Duties:

Handle incoming calls and greet visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment

General Administration:

Manage post, maintain stationery stock, oversee freight processes, and handle associated queries

Maintain internal telephone lists and update records as needed

HR Support:
-
Request and process references for new and former employees
-
Assist managers in coordinating Work Experience placements and liaise with educational institutions

Support onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the company

Time & Attendance Management:

Update and maintain the time & attendance system, record authorized leave, and ensure holiday reconciliation is accurate

Handle return-to-work documentation for employees

Travel and Event Coordination:

Arrange travel accommodations for staff and assist in organizing site events, including ensuring compliance with PPE requirements

Coordinate sports, social activities, and charity events, supporting the Admin & HR team in these initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency with IT, including MS Office Suite
