Our well-established Dorking based client is a manufacturer of industrial equipment - they are currently looking to recruit a UK Sales Support Administrator to support the sales & service team with timely and efficient administration. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and organisational skills and ideally have an understanding of SAP.
Overall Purpose of the position
To provide timely and accurate processing of UK sales requests and administration support within the Sales & Service Support Team. Including Sales order handling and Bids and Development.
Main Duties of UK Sales Support Administrator
Processing of UK machine Quotes and Sales Orders. Ensuring all are submitted in an accurate and timely manner.
Regularly Provide updates to customers on the progress of orders via build schedules and mail/phone queries
Take and resolve telephone and written queries.
Support the existing Sales & Service Administration team where required with general administrative duties, information gathering, post and answering phones.
Provide cover for colleagues during absence
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, including a clear desk policy, paying attention to health and safety issues Any other duties deemed appropriate by the Company.
The Person
- SAP experience required
- Previous experience working for a manufacturer - desirable.
- Previous experience in fast moving sales
- Good communication skills
- Good prioritisation skills
- Basic computer skills on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
