Assistant Management Accountant

iMultiply are delighted to be working with a leading Public Sector organisation to find an Assistant Management Accountant for a 9 month contract. This role can be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

The role

The Assistant Management Accountant t will work as a member of the Finance Team and support the Management Accounts function with daily tasks involving:

  • preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments journals and detailed review of transactions
  • producing the Board's budgets and finance reports
  • providing transactional processing and analytical services
  • providing expert financial advice, technical guidance and pro-active decision support

In order to succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority
  • Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Strong MS Excel skills - Pivot Tables, V Lookups, Sum Ifs.
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met

On Offer
This full time role offers a salary of £30,000, with flexible hours and a flexible working philosophy. The offices are easily accessible and the role can be worked in either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

The role also has a possibility of becoming permanent, with funding until the end of March 2025 currently.
