Bids & Marketing Coordinator

The Business:

Working with a professional services business in Newcastle who are looking to recruit into the Marketing Team, seeking an enthusiastic and tech-savvy Bids & Marketing Coordinator. Duties are varied and no two days look the same, you will be responsible for the production and formatting of bids and pitches, reporting of marketing data and wide-reaching administrative duties. This role is critical in supporting the firm's marketing reach and driving business development efforts so are looking for someone who is a self-starter and has a real eye for detail.

Perfect for a post-grad with 1-2 years of experience or someone that would like to gain exposure to the business/tender side of Marketing working within a large commercial team.

This is a hybrid role.

The Role:

  • Tenders

o Setting up tender kick off and progress meetings with multiple contributors

o Producing meeting agendas and actions notes

o Collating and editing multiple inputs to produce finalised tender responses

o Managing timelines for tender responses

o Liaising with fee earners, providing important tender updates

o Carrying out client management reporting

o Updating CRM and BD+ with tender information

o Monitoring tender portals for suitable submissions

o Sharing feedback across the teams

o Updating a number of systems with key tender information for reporting purposes

o Formatting bid and pitch documents

  • Other

o Manage the credentials / sector brochure library, and liaise with Design Manager to ensure kept up to date

o Pull together content and layout pitches and other bespoke marketing materials such as pitch documents, team sheets, training menus.

o Provide general administrative and assistant support as required to the wider Marketing team as and when required.

o Set up meetings and arrange travel in support of the wider team.

This role requires a diligent individual with exceptional organisation skills and a positive attitude.
