Treasury Operations Manager

Butler Rose is working with one of the largest housing associations in London and the south-east in their search for a Treasury Operations Manager to join their team. This is a permanent role with hybrid working (3 days in office) in London and will pay up to £75,000 to the successful candidate.

As Treasury Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the operational treasury function for the group.

Duties:

  • Lead on the day-to-day operational running of the Treasury function ensuring best in class service is provided to all stakeholders.
  • Assist the Head of Treasury in implementing the annual treasury plan and ensure the treasury function to run in compliance with treasury management policies.
  • Implement and maintain effective debt management strategies managing loan and covenant agreements, bank accounts etc.
  • Ensure all contractual requirements within the group's loan agreements are met, including timely capital & interest payments and the monitoring of compliance with loan covenants.
  • Manage the day-to-day banking requirements ensuring banking platforms, mandates and KY requirements are accurately maintained.
  • Provide cash flow forecasts and prudently manage the group's cash to ensure all daily cash requirements are met with surplus cash invested with approved counter parties.
  • Ensure all treasury transactions are accounted for in accordance with the applicable Accounting Standards, reconciling treasury codes managing the data in titan Treasury.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Hold a CCAB recognised accounting qualification with supporting CPD and a treasury qualification.
  • Extensive experience in treasury management, debt management and risk assessment.
  • Proven track record in negotiating with banks, lenders and government bodies and managing a complex treasury portfolio
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and make data-driven decisions
  • Up-to-date knowledge of treasury regulations, market trends and best practices
  • Be a confident and experienced role model and manager, ensuring you reflect the values of the organisation
  • Uphold ethical principles including integrity, objectivity, professional competence, confidentiality, and professional behaviour
