SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team at a secondary school in Lewisham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with autism and Down syndrome.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN during lessons.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Write detailed reports to share with parents, SENCO, and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure the best educational outcomes for students.
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with SEN students in a secondary school setting in the UK.
- Ability to work effectively on a one-to-one basis with students.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship is offered).
- Willingness to undergo all necessary compliance checks.
