Job Overview:
We are assisting a boutique law firm in their search for a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Controller. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in credit control, preferably within a legal or partnership environment. You will be responsible for managing the firm's credit processes, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the firm's debtor ledger
- Chase overdue payments and handle client queries
- Negotiate payment plans with clients where necessary
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and payments
- Prepare and send out client statements and invoices
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve billing issues
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years' credit control experience (legal/partnership environment preferred)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in a case management software system is highly desirable
