The Head of Mental Health & Learning Disability is a pivotal role for our client who are a Charitable Housing Association delivering housing and support to customers in London and the South East.
Reporting to the Director of Complex Care, this broad ranging position offers the opportunity to drive performance, quality, business, and financial efficiencies.
Adept in Regulated Care knowledge, you will act as a key figure head within our client's senior management team contributing to the overall strategic direction and development of the organisation.
The successful candidate will be the strategic and operational lead driving the delivery of consistent and high-quality performance across the Mental Health and Learning Disability function. Additionally, they will ensure that the function is run effectively, and employees are performing at high levels.
This role requires an accomplished leader who can ideally demonstrate the following:
- Knowledge of CQC and other regulatory requirements and frameworks i.e., PBS
- Working with Policy Groups to develop new policies relevant to area of work.
- Keeping informed of legislative and policy changes to improve working practices and help inform strategy
- Leading on innovation relevant to supporting adults with mental health, learning disabilities & autism
- Working in partnership with other leads across directorate to ensure consistency and share good practice
