Key Responsibilities:

Monthly Management Reports:

Craft comprehensive monthly management reports, expertly handling prepayments, accruals, fixed assets depreciation, foreign currencies, and balance sheet revaluation.

Annual Accounts Preparation:

Skillfully prepare annual accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, and charitable organizations using IRIS Accounts Production software, from trial balance through to summary analysis.

Working Papers and Reconciliations:
-
Develop meticulous working paper files, including lead schedules, control accounts, and balance sheet reconciliations. Engage regularly with clients to resolve queries promptly.

Bookkeeping and Records Maintenance:

Maintain precise bookkeeping records for clients utilising QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage 50. This includes performing bank reconciliations, sales and purchase ledger reconciliations, and posting journals, including year-end closing balance adjustments.

Client Portfolio Management:

Oversee a portfolio of clients, preparing business and personal tax returns, quarterly VAT returns, and liaising with HM Revenue and Customs on behalf of clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency with accounting software, including IRIS Accounts Production, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage 50, and Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with robust analytical skills.
