In-House Lawyer Commercial Contracts - 12-month FTC

Our client is a well-known global Tax Consultancy; they are currently looking to engage a Commercial Contracts Lawyer for an assignment of 12 months in duration in London, starting ASAP. Due to the requirement, successful Lawyers are likely to have upwards of 3 years' PQE, a strong commercial contracts background, and experience gained at a Top 50 law firm or a FTSE 100 company. The ability to start a new role immediately or at short notice is of particular interest.

Successful candidates should have strong commercial backgrounds with experience in advising on:

  • Terms and conditions
  • Confidentiality agreements
  • Supply of services and goods
  • Agency and distribution agreements
  • Technology and IT contracts
  • Collaboration agreements
  • Outsourcing agreements
  • Licence agreements

The successful commercial contracts Lawyer will be joining a small legal team in London and can expect to report into the Associate General Counsel. The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team is essential. Strong technical abilities are a must, along with excellent soft skills and the willingness to roll sleeves up and help the wider team. The legal team works on a hybrid working policy, with 1-2 days per week spent in the London office.

It is likely that successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor from England and Wales
  • 3+PQE in handling a full range of commercial matters for clients within the Financial Services or financial consultancies
  • Experience gained within Top 50 Law Firms or FTSE 100 companies
  • The ability to start a new role immediately or at short notice
  • A genuine desire to commit to a 12 month assignment.
