Are you an experienced KS1 Teacher looking for a new challenge this September? If so, we want to hear from you.

Teach Plus are currently working with a mainstream primary school in Hillingdon that are seeking experienced KS1 Teachers to join their team for September 2024. This school will be open to inspiring Early Career Teacher's who are currently completing their teacher training.

This school is a three-form entry, multi-cultural school which provides an inclusive, friendly and caring place for students to learn. All students are treated with respect and tolerance and prepared for their learning journey. The school encourages values of perseverance, respect, excellence and partnership.

As a KS1 Teacher you will ensure all students understand learning by adapting their lesson plans for every child's individual needs. This promotes children to feel confident, enthusiastic and passionate about their learning and are proud of their achievements.

As a KS1 Teacher you will be required to:

  • To plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school's plans, curriculum and schemes of work
  • To ensure that accurate, regular assessment (in accordance with school policy) is carried out and that assessments inform future planning
  • To adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
  • To set high standards which inspires, motivate and challenge pupils
  • To demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
  • Provide opportunities for independent learning and the development of autonomy for all children in the group or class
  • To support the ethos of the school and to contribute to the general well-being and safety of all the
  • Encouraging members of the community: pupils, parents, colleagues, governors and all others involved
  • To set standards of dress, language and behaviour which are appropriate to a member of our school community
  • To communicate effectively with pupils, parents and carers
  • To carry out such duties appropriate to the level of the role as directed by the Headteacher or line manager

The ideal candidate for a KS1 Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service - Child work force
  • Right to work within the UK
  • Overseas criminal clearance
