Building Control Surveyor

We are seeking a Senior Building Control Surveyor with a Class 2 minimum or Class 3 certification to join our team on a 12-week contract. This role is ideal for professionals who specialise in inspections and occasional plan checks. With a flexible start time available, we are looking to onboard the right candidate within two weeks.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conducting building inspections, focusing on residential and commercial properties within Peterborough.
- Performing occasional plan checks as required.
- Office-based work for 2-3 days a week, ensuring efficient time management for brief office stays, typically 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Working a 37-hour week, with flexible times around roughly 8 am-4 pm, Monday to Friday.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Senior Surveyor with a Class 2 minimum or Class 3 certification.
- Experience in both residential and commercial inspections.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a flexible schedule.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for reporting and communication.
