We are exclusively recruiting for a Head of Marketing for a leading UK-based energy efficiency company. Their primary focus is on helping homeowners and businesses reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprint. Their commitment to sustainability and customer satisfaction has made them a trusted name in the industry. The Head of Marketing will be a key hire that will grow and develop the brand using digital and traditional marketing to build and lead a strong marketing team.

Head of Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Brand Development and Growth: Develop and implement strategies to enhance brand awareness, reputation, and market share.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in SEO, PPC, analytics, and affiliate marketing to drive online visibility and engagement.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a marketing team, overseeing their performance and development.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage monthly and annual marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of funds.
  • Agency Collaboration: Work closely with agency partners, monitoring their performance and holding them accountable for delivering results.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Managing Director on marketing activities, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • General Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in various marketing disciplines, including brand management, digital marketing, and campaign planning.
  • Digital Marketing Proficiency: Strong understanding and practical application of SEO, PPC, analytics, and affiliate marketing.
  • Management Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role, demonstrating leadership and team-building skills.
  • Budget Management: Proven ability to create, manage, and optimise marketing budgets.
  • Agency Collaboration: Experience working effectively with external agencies and holding them accountable for performance.
  • E-commerce Experience (Beneficial): Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and strategies would be advantageous, especially considering the company's plans for a new website.
  • Industry Knowledge (Beneficial): Experience in the heating or renewable energy industry would be a plus but is not essential.
