Accountancy Recruit is partnering a client in central London to engage an interim Finance Manager. Our client is a privately owned, growing SME. This is an interim role (likely outside IR35) and is office based in central London. The role would suit a Financial Controller, Senior Management Accountant, Company Accountant or Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day financial operations of the business.
- Oversee the work of 2 Finance Assistants responsible for AP, AR and Payroll.
- Produce monthly management accounts with analysis to present to the FD.
- Business partner wider business and produce analysis on performance to provide insight to ensure informed commercial decision making.
- Weekly cashflow forecasts.
- Identify and implement improved controls and processes.
- Support the FD in budget preparation.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
To be successful in this role the Finance Manager will have the following experience:
- ACCA or CIMA qualified finance professional.
- Strong track record in a similar role.
- Strong systems experience, ideally Xero.
- Team leading experience.
- Analytical mindset.
- Ability to see the big picture and use insight from data to support business performance.
The rate advertised for this role is a guideline and the rate offered will be commensurate with experience.
