The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Complaints Officer who will be responsible for all aspects of complaints handling, ensuring regulatory timescales, group and business standards are met.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, company and business partners, to help identify trends, champion service delivery and minimise the risk of customer detriment by ensuring good customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Investigate and analyse complaints to achieve fair and reasonable outcomes
- Interact directly with customers over the phone, by letter and email, communicating clearly, concisely and in a professional manner
- To handle all complaints from acknowledgment through to issuing decision letters
- To handle all file requests from the Financial Ombudsman Service, working alongside the Group risk and Compliance team, where necessary
Experience:
- Excellent knowledge of complaint handling processes and procedures
- PC literate – including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer focussed and can tailor approach as required
- Confident public presenter with an ability to provide solutions to key stakeholders across a variety of mediums
