Portfolio Project Manager

We are currently searching for an experienced Portfolio Project Manager to join a leading international education business as they continue to expand their suite of digital products.

As Portfolio Project Manager, you will supervise individual projects to meet the programme objectives, coordinate teams, and track progress. You will ensure that success is measured across the portfolio against individual projects, timelines, budget, and compliance. As a genuine team-player, you will collaborate closely with the Project and Portfolio teams, schools, cross-functional teams, stakeholders and clients.

Key responsibilities - Portfolio Project Manager:

  • Develop, manage and execute the project plan/s in accordance with the Portfolio strategy
  • Manage daily tasks leading to the operational production and delivery of the plan
  • Coordinate the workflow across the Portfolio and Project teams
  • Manage QA of the final deliverables to ensure they meet the standards required
  • Responsible for reporting progress, including risks and issues, to the Project Managers and Portfolio Team
  • Design and ensure strong standard operating procedures, including file convention/naming
  • Recognise and implement opportunities for continuous process improvement
  • Provide other project management support across Portfolio where required

Experience required - Portfolio Project Manager:

  • Extensive project management experience, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and in cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and with excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks
  • Safeguarding training and DBS clearance are required when you start your tenure
