Key Responsibilities
:
- Drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney
- Assisting with probate applications and estate administration
- Preparing and submitting inheritance tax forms
- Liaising with clients, financial institutions, and other professionals
- Conducting legal research and maintaining accurate client records
- Managing files and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Providing high-quality support to fee earner
- Managing caseloads efficiently and accurately
- Maintaining strong client relationships
- Keeping up to date with developments in private client law
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Private Client Paralegal (12 months experience required)
- Strong knowledge of private client law, including wills, probate, and trusts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
