My client in Hounslow, is seeking an experienced HGV Parts Advisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will live locally to Hounslow & have experience as a HGV Parts Advisor and excellent customer service skills.
As a HGV Part Advisor in Hounslow, this role involves working with the service department, managing inventory, and ensuring the timely procurement of necessary parts.
Duties:
- Identify and source HGV parts for customer orders and workshop requirements.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular inventory checks.
- Process parts orders efficiently and ensure timely delivery to customers and technicians.
- Manage returns and warranty claims effectively.
- Provide expert advice to customers regarding HGV parts.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and stock movements.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilise company systems for order processing, inventory management, and reporting.
- Work closely with the service department to ensure parts availability for scheduled and urgent repairs.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members as needed.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage in manufacturer training programs to stay updated on new products and technologies
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and technical skills.
Experience essential for this role:
- Proven experience as an HGV Parts Advisor or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of HGV parts and components.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication
- Proficiency in using parts management systems and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving license preferred.
