Description
As a Payroll Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Accurately process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for multiple clients.
- Calculate and deduct the correct amounts for income tax (PAYE), National Insurance, and pension contributions.
- Prepare payroll reports, payslips, and financial summaries for clients.
- Calculate and process statutory payments such as sick pay, maternity/paternity pay, and holiday pay.
- Manage payroll services for multiple clients, ensuring adherence to deadlines and accuracy.
- Handle year-end payroll tasks, including P60s, P45s, and P11Ds
- Input payroll data including hours worked, deductions, overtime, and bonuses.
- Ensure sensitive payroll data is handled securely and in compliance with data protection regulations
Profile
A successful Payroll professional should have:
- Experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in payroll software
- Excellent understanding of payroll tax laws and employment legislation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
