Academics are working with an excellent school in Canterbury who require a sports coach/Learning Support Assistant to start in September 2024. The school has a strong sporting ethos and are looking for a new colleague to join who will foster their students' talents in this area!

About the School - Sports Coach/LSA
This highly regarded school is in the popular City of Canterbury and has been providing a high-quality education to local pupils who have gone to achieve highly. Starting at the earliest opportunity the school is looking to employee a talented sports coach who will also support students for 20% of the week as an LSA.
This school has a strong interest in sports and is looking for someone who will enhance the sports department and help its students learn all the skills and life lessons that sports provides.
Role requirements:
- Sports background ideally educated to degree level or with coaching/teaching experience
- Confident personality who will be able to successfully motivate and teach pupils in small groups between the ages of 11 and 16.
- Be available to participate in extracurricular activities including sports clubs, training, and events.
- Be happy to work as a Learning Support Assistant which will cover about 20% of the timetable making this a full-time role.
- Be keen to work in a progressive school on a long-term basis that could end up becoming a permanent role.
