Interim Marketing Manager

The Role: Seeking an experienced marketing proffesional to spearhead impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse stakeholder groups, driving member engagement and acquisition. This role is pivotal in delivering industry-leading insights and aligning content to bolster our member engagement and acquisition initiatives. Collaborating with specialists across the business, the Marketing Manager will be a key player in our Voice department, which encompasses marketing, digital, research, campaigns, and communications.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain the brand and marketing strategy, aligning with the business plan to meet member engagement, acquisition, and communication goals.
  • Craft content-led marketing campaigns, overseeing the process from development and planning to execution and performance analysis.
  • Enhance lead generation and member engagement, providing expert advice on communication strategies and regular performance reporting.
  • Produce compelling content assets, including reports, blogs, newsletters, and social media content.
  • Collaborate with other Marketing Managers to optimise content for diverse audiences and integrate cross-channel campaigns.
  • Implement keyword strategies to support SEO efforts and review campaign performance using data-driven approaches to refine content and campaign strategies.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing outputs and utilise digital marketing tools to maximise campaign performance and customer experience.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven track record of managing integrated marketing campaigns and achieving commercial targets.
  • An innovative thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and seizing new opportunities.
  • Experience of managing multiple projects and working with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Influential communicator capable of driving innovation and process improvements.
  • Creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail and a passion for innovation.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with data-informed decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional copywriting and graphic design communication skills.
  • Proficient in marketing data analysis and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation (CMS) and CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and tools like Trello, Click Dimensions, Zapier, Drift, and Hotjar is desirable.
  • Ideally, experience of working with membership bodies or the Wider Public Sector
