ROLE – Health, Safety & Environmental Manager
LOCATION – Hamilton, Scotland
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £45,000- £50,000 per annum dependant on experience (please advise)
My innovative engineering client is looking to take on a (HSE) Health, Safety & environmental Manager, on a permanent basis, in the Hamilton area.
The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Degree, HND Qualification in Quality, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical subject
- Background in Health, Safety & Environmental practices
- Have industry experience working within a similar engineering role
- Experience with COSHH/RIDDOR OR SEPA
- Experience with Risk Management & Internal/ External Audits
The Quality Engineer role will involve:
- Working with the team to ensure zero accidents/ incidents
- To ensure that internal, customer and 3rd party requirements are fulfilled
- Continually improve business systems
- Implement a Safety culture
- Implementing any process improvements that are identified
