Posted by Insure Recruitment.

This is an amazing opportunity for an insurance professional to further their career as a File Auditor for one of our amazing insurance group clients based out of North Greater London.

This is an excellent opportunity to step out of a client-facing handling/broking role into the world of compliance with a direct line to the Directors and a dotted line into our clients' central compliance function.

Your day-to-day tasks will consist of:

  • Undertake all 1st line reviews of client files on policies at all parts of their lifecycles (New business, MTA, Renewal and Cancellation).
  • Actively reviewing client files against business and FCA guidelines and regulations.
  • Ensuring that all policies meet the prerequisites of the clients and that all advice provided is in line with obligations.
  • Collaborating with both the internal team and also the wider risk and compliance functions.
  • Act as a conduit between group compliance and the leadership team where required.
  • In addition, you are responsible for assisting with monitoring employees' adherence to required training & competency requirements, appointed representatives' adherence to FCA requirements and business standards and assisting with collating and reporting on data required in relation to the application and monitoring of Appointed Representatives and Introducers.

The Benefits you will be provided for the position:

  • A wonderful working environment with the added bonus of hybrid working to enable you to balance your work/life commitments (3 days in office/2 days at home)
  • A competitive basic salary + all the normal benefits (Pension, Life Assurance, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays)
  • Access to the annual Share Purchase scheme (15% discount on shares).
  • An environment led to staff development and progression with full support for professional qualifications such as a Cert CII (post probation).

Traits that will be most beneficial for the position:

  • A solid understanding of Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance with previous experience within either a broking or 1st line Compliance (due to the nature of this role prior experience within insurance is unfortunately essential)
  • A skill set that includes high-level communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, influencing, analytical and technical skills coupled with strong IT skills and an understanding of broking platforms
  • Insurance qualifications would be beneficial but full support will be provided for undertaking these.

Please apply for the role by submitting your most up-to-date CV.
