We are looking for a Instructor of Motor mechanics to join the team
- To lead on the teaching of basic motor vehicle studies which can include health and safety in the work environment, engine building and general maintenance.
- To prepare students for an accredited awarding body ABC in Motor Vehicles.
- To be responsible for the motor vehicle workshop, maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring that there are sufficient materials and tools available.
- To be responsible for the development of schemes of work, lesson planning, the assessment of work and all recording and reporting as well as securing good attendance and maximising course completion.
Educational Qualifications required:
- Qualified to Level 3 or above
- Recognised Trade qualification
Range 5-7, £30,825 – 42,403 FTE
Full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
