THE POST- REQ000187 - Cleaner
Working within the Campus Services directorate based at the University of the West of Scotland's Ayr Campus you will participate in the day-to-day programme of cleaning services to ensure that the campus facilities are maintained in a clean, safe and hygienic condition. You will be part of a professional support service and work alongside a friendly team.
The hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am-12:30pm.
The successful candidate should have the following:
- No formal qualification is required, however, previous experience working within a commercial / industrial cleaning environment would be desirable
- A basic understanding of health and safety requirements within the workplace as training will be provided
- Ability to demonstrate working in a customer focused role with an emphasis on providing quality service
