Acoustic Consultant
Our client is an established acoustic consultancy with expertise in providing services for sustainable architectural projects. They work on various projects in education, residential, commercial, and leisure sectors. The consultancy provides a wide range of services, including modelling, design, assessments, testing, and the development of ventilation and facade optimisation products.
Requirements:
- Hold a BSc and/or MSc in acoustics or a related discipline, and be a member of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA)
- Possession of a valid UK driver's licence
- Proficiency in various software packages including ODEON, INSUL, Soundplan, and CaDnaA
- Strong technical background in architectural and environmental acoustics
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Engage with clients to thoroughly understand project requirements
- Prepare and finalise detailed technical reports
- Utilise project management skills to ensure a smooth process throughout the deliverables' life cycle
- Work onsite as necessary and provide support to junior/graduate level staff when required
