Automation Test Engineer - Warrington

Are you ready to take ownership of an automated testing framework? Join a small, dynamic QA team, where you'll work alongside two skilled QA professionals to elevate our testing processes. We're looking for someone with a strong background in C#, Selenium, Specflow, and RestSharp, with over 3 years of hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Automated Testing Frameworks: Take full responsibility for enhancing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
  • Conduct Regression Testing: Ensure that recent fixes and enhancements do not disrupt existing functionalities.
  • Develop and Maintain Automation Tests: Write and maintain automation tests within the existing BDD framework.
  • Deliver High-Quality Software: Ensure that the software delivered to customers is thoroughly tested and meets high standards.
  • Engage in Static Testing: Actively participate in the review of acceptance criteria and requirements to identify any errors, omissions, or ambiguities.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
  • Enhance QA Processes: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the QA process by offering feedback and suggestions

Essential Skills / Experience:

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in a Test Automation Engineer role or equivalent.
  • Strong C# coding ability.
  • Experience using and maintaining automated test frameworks (C#, SpecFlow).
  • Experience automating test cases using Selenium WebDriver & RestSharp.
  • Experience in Manual testing (UAT/System/Regression).
  • Experience with Dev/QA collaboration to derive Test Cases / Scenarios.
  • Good working knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS).
  • Strong Technical Ability (Windows, DNS, Networking, Scripting)
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practice testing techniques.
