A dedicated and enthusiastic Children Support Worker to join our team at a reputable special needs school in Rutland.
Role Overview: As a Children Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a diverse range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with teachers to cater to individual student requirements.
- Assisting students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and understanding.
- Providing one-on-one support to students with personal care and Social Emotional needs
- Implementing behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you should have:
- A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to varying student needs.
- Minimum 6 months of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK (Mandatory)
- Right To Work in the UK (No Sponsorship Provided)
- Driver with a Clean Driving License (School is in a Rural area, so not commutable by public transport)
