You will be the kind of person who wants to make a difference within your day-to-day work, but of course there are a few other requirements:

  • Requires Driving License and access to own vehicle
  • Experience in building maintenance services and managing contractors.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and building management systems.
  • Competence in handling building services and preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to manage and plan site projects, including capital projects.
  • Familiarity with utility services, reporting, and costing.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including outside normal hours if needed.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach with effective time management.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or air conditioning fields.
  • Experience through apprenticeship or practical work is preferred.

In this role you will be working in and amongst the Site Operations Chapter to manage and execute maintenance and improvement projects for site facilities, ensuring high-quality standards, regulatory compliance, and efficient operation of building services. You will also be responsible for:

  • Planning and implementing corrective and preventive maintenance for site facilities.
  • Managing small civils projects to ensure high quality and compliance with standards.
  • Overseeing and reviewing third-party contractors, including induction, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Ensuring timely and effective completion of maintenance and projects.
  • Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to laws and regulations.

Salary: £20.36 - £25.00 (PAYE) per hour OR £27.00 - £33.17 (UMB) per hour

Full Time: Monday - Friday, but every 1 in 3 weeks will be on call

6 Month Contract (Outside IR35)
