About the Role:
My client are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating technical business projects, ensuring timely and specification-compliant delivery, and enhancing the performance and efficiency of technical equipment and tooling within our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate technical business projects to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to specifications.
- Provide costings and estimates for new business projects.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve the performance and efficiency of technical equipment.
- Design technical components and other items related to the manufacturing of plastic components as needed.
- Create and maintain accurate technical drawings, product specifications, and records.
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and clean work area during and at the end of each day.
- Plan and perform work in accordance with the Company Safety, Health, and Environmental Policy, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory provisions.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Experience in new product development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with 3D CAD design is desirable.
- Engineering qualification NVQ Level 2 essential, Level 3 desirable.
