Technical Officer - Automotive Passive Safety

ASL Technical are seeking an experienced administrator or Technical Officer to join our Bedfordshire based client who have a contract requirement for 12-months+ within their Passive Safety department. In this role, you will be integral in managing administrative tasks, overseeing project milestones, and ensuring smooth operation within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:

Manage and organize administrative items within the Passive Safety department.

  • Project Management:

Oversee project milestones, deadlines, and liaise with engineers and management to maintain schedules.

  • Data & Report Management:

Track design notes, manage test part procurement, and maintain crash test data databases, including trend reporting.

  • Test Vehicle Management:

Handle test vehicle logistics, including transport and customs requests.

  • Meeting Coordination:

Attend regular project meetings and relay key information back to the department.

  • Task Prioritization:

Effectively prioritize and complete tasks within tight deadlines.

  • Proactive Work Ethic:

Take initiative and work independently to support department goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • MS Office Proficiency:

Fully proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Computer Literacy:

High level of adaptability to new systems and software.

  • Organizational Skills:

Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Proactive Mindset:

Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively.

  • Driving License:

Must hold a full, valid UK Driver's License.
