We are working with a brilliant school in Swindon to find the perfect candidate to join the team in September 2024, for the new academic year as a School Mental Health Worker. The school is a specialist setting, providing education to students with additional needs and facing challenges regarding developmental trauma and other mental health issues.
The Specialist School:

- Purpose built facilities and buildings such as art therapy, sensory rooms and construction studios
The School Mental Health Worker Job Role:
- Collaborate with teachers to create encouraging classroom environment
- While working as a School Mental Health Worker, you will students' reactions and progress both regarding tasks and self-improvement
- It is the School Mental Health Worker's responsibility to offer support and guidance during challenging times
- Communicate between the families, school and mental health professionals (both internal and external)
- Working 1-1 with students facing dilemmas and handling a turbulent mental state
