They are seeking someone from a manufacturing background that will manage their day to day aspect of Quality Engineer across their large scale, high volume manufacturing facility.
As a Quality Engineer you will be reporting to Quality Manager and
supervising the activities of the Shift Quality Personnel
, ensuring that their work supports production and product demands with regards to quality. You will also be
responsible for day-to-day Product Quality and Process Technical Support
and assisting in the
development of a Continuous Improvement culture
throughout the Business.
Skills and Qualifications required:
- A higher-level qualification, ideally a science-based qualification to Degree level.
- 5 years' manufacturing or laboratory experience, ideally with management experience within a quality function.
- Experience of Quality Assurance and Quality Control is essential.
- Experience working with various route cause analysis techniques.
- Working understanding of ISO 9001 & (knowledge of ISO 13485 would also be advantageous)
- A good understanding of continuous production manufacturing (mass volume)
