Part TIme Tax Accountant - Financial Services

An international investment management company is seeking a tax accountant to join the team on a part time basis (3 days per week) for a 6 month fixed contract. The company manages multi-asset funds and equity through different strategies covering Europe, US and Asia,
Your new role
In your new role as a part time tax accountant, you will provide tax and regulatory services to the group whilst reporting to the Head of Tax.
VAT

  • Prepare VAT returns on a quarterly, bi-monthly and monthly basis
  • Reconcile VAT control accounts

Transfer Pricing

  • Prepare monthly transfer pricing journals through the group
  • Ensure transfer priced revenue and expenditure is accurately recorded
  • Prepare quarterly invoice figures

Corporation Tax

  • Prepare monthly corporation tax calculations for European and US entities.
  • Reconcile corporation tax control accounts
  • Prepare calculations for tax payments

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, you will have a proven track record of working in a mixed tax team, ideally from within Financial Services. You will have an excellent understanding of partial exemption and reverse charge VAT rules as well as an understanding of UK corporation tax and transfer pricing.
