Tradewind is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Primary School in the Hyde area of Stockport.
Position: Teaching Assistant (EYFS)
Location: Primary School, Hyde, Stockport
Start Date: September 2024
Role Overview:
- Support Students with Complex Needs: Work closely with a group of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs.
- Classroom Integration: Assist in integrating students' learning experiences into the mainstream classroom, ensuring they receive a well-rounded education.
- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside experienced educators and support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with complex needs.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualised learning plans.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure cohesive support for all students.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to adapt it to meet diverse needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the development of every child.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
