INTRODUCTION

Operating nationwide, our client is leading provider of children's support services, foster care and education services. They have an enviable reputation as offering high standards of excellence in delivering services of critical value. Due to team growth, they now require someone join the team.

  • No prior QA experience is necessary for this role – full support is provided.

LOCATION

Home, remote and field-based role – responsible for the North and Midlands.

Requires some travel to regional offices across the North of the UK.

Ideal home locations: Midlands, Yorkshire, Birmingham, Leicester, Coalville, Rotherham, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield, Loughborough, Doncaster, Leeds, Bradford.

THE JOB ROLE

The Qualifications Assessor role takes responsibility for ensuring the effective completion of adult learning qualifications and accreditations at leadership level (level 5 and some higher).

  • Tracking qualification and training processes and completion across team members.
  • Mentoring and supporting team members during the qualification process.
  • Completing documentation, recording data and success rates across the team.
  • Face-to-face support and coaching work with teams across a number of sites and locations.
  • Working in conjunction with an external qualifications verifier and governing body.

THE PERSON NEEDED

For the Qualifications Assessor role, our client is happy to provide structured induction and training for new hires, but does need:

  • Qualifications – an existing qualification at Level 5 or above.
  • Leadership – personal experience of leading a team in your career.
  • Prior experience working within a related environment e.g. learning and development, training, coaching, assessing, education, teaching, care services.
  • Flexibility to commit to weekly travel and occasional overnight stays away.
  • Good written skills and an organised and structured approach to work.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career as a QA.

£36K Basic salary + all travel expenses
