The Role

Due to sustained growth and continuing expansion plans, a leading telecoms infrastructure business has an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner / HR Generalist / Senior HR Advisor to join them. This new role will report into the HR Director and alongside the HR Officer and will be responsible for supporting the operational, day-to-day HR & LD needs of the business are aligned and implemented by building collaborating with business managers to implement people plans and provide an effective HR service across Talent Acquisition, Inductions, Talent Management, Employee Relations and Compliance. You will also have the opportunity to undertake a variety of HR focused projects as the business grows.

  • Building strong working relationships with Directors, Heads of Teams and Managers
  • Be a trusted adviser to the management teams to deliver improved performance
  • Advising on employee relations, performance management and structure & succession planning
  • Support the Acting HR Director and HR team to deliver key projects within the HR plan and People strategy to deliver continuous improvement across the generalist HR remit
  • Support change initiatives from an HR perspective
  • Constantly review and continuously improve L&D compliance with statutory training in the teams
  • Undertake a variety of HR projects

Requirements

We would expect the successful HR Business Partner / HR Generalist / Senior HR Advisor to be qualified to CIPD Level 5 with solid experience in a generalist HR role - consideration will be given to someone who has worked extensively as a HR Advisor and is looking to step up. You will have a strong track record of managing ER cases through to conclusion and have good experience across of a number of areas including recruitment and onboarding, compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management and employment laws. Knowledge of the telecoms industry is by no means essential, but some exposure to the construction sector could be beneficial. This role would suit someone who has worked as a Human Resources Business Partner, Human Resources Generalist, Human Resources Senior Advisor.

Due to location and the need to attend sites and CPD events it is essential you have a full licence and your own transport.
