Position: Packaging Artworker

My client flourished into an international business with toiletries sold in over 50 countries. They are renowned for bath, body and home fragrance products that vary from richly classical to wonderfully innovative. They create and sell our own brands including Naturally European and Aromas Artesanales de Antigua, but we also work with large multi-national retail groups to design, formulate and manufacture private labels.They are a friendly team of designers, artworkers, perfumers, sales, admin and financial people who love our work and continually strive for excellence. Although an international company, their office in Clutton retains a small and welcoming feel. My client is looking for a talented and enthusiastic artworker to join their award-winning in-house studio. This is an exciting and rewarding role for an artworker, used to working in dynamic and fast-paced creative environments looking for their next opportunity.
Essential skills/experience for a Packaging Artworker:
- At least 1-2yrs experience of creating technical packaging artwork
- Proficient Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop & Illustrator)
- Print & Colour Management knowledge
- Strong file management skills
- Good eye for detail
- Methodical in their approach to work & good organisational skills
- Strong team worker (but also able to work independently)
- Good communication skills
- Good sense of humour
- Able to juggle multiple client projects against tight deadlines
Preferred, but not essential skills:
- Experience of creating die-line templates (ranging from simple to complex configurations)
- Mocking up/Cutting skills
