Client Details

PageGroup are delighted to support a growing engineering business based in Nottingham with the appointment of a HR Generalist to join a small, busy HR function.

This role can offer hybrid working of 4 days on site and 1 home per week (after 6 months training period)

Description

Reporting to a HR Business Partner, the role of HR Generalist is a varied and fast-paced position, supporting a number of sites with a wide range of people matters, including but not limited to:

  • Manage HR matters across multiple departments, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Effectively handle employee relations issues, providing appropriate solutions and guidance.
  • Support recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Participate in performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
  • Manage HR records in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Provide advice and support to managers on HR policies and procedures.

Profile

Ideal candidates for this role will have a proven HR Advisory background with the ability to manage a wide range of employee relations casework.

You will also be comfortable with some occasional travel to other sites business needs dependent
