Partner Financial are working with an Entertainment business with a growing reputation in the market for excellent product offering and customer service. The business is going through a period of functional change, development, and expansion into new markets and are looking to appoint a finance business partner who will offer commercial insight and influence the finance team to achieve their operational goals.
The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Finance Director and will be capable of effectively communicating at all levels with the ability to identify finance & operational process pinch-points and implement relevant efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influencing and driving actions across investments (CAPEX & OPEX).
- Working closely with the business unit to identify key insights and emerging trends.
- Challenging budget holders and translating complex financial information into tangible operational outcomes.
- Partnering with senior leadership to define and develop appropriate KPIs for the business.
- Providing financial insight to enable informed decision making.
- Developing a process to ensure KPIs can be accurately calculated, collated and used to drive business performance.
- Acting as a key advisor for the Group through financial insight and data, helping to continually challenge assumptions.
- Modelling of new scenarios and new investment decisions
The Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Previous experience working with in a large international company as a finance business partner.
- Experience of partnering with Retail & Operations an advantage
- Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence.
- A natural ability to build strong relationships, confident and comfortable at engaging collaboratively with different stakeholders at all levels.
