Our Client:

Our client is a Good graded OFSTED College, striving for greatness. They deliver academic, vocational, and apprenticeship courses to over 12,000 students. The College aims to build the skills of its students, to best prepare them for Higher Education, or to start their journeys in their chosen careers. The role:

The college is looking for a Communications and Content Specialist for initially 3 months. The right candidate needs to be able to support the digital side also, like updating websites. The College has a strong team of Developers who manage the building of the website. The role will ideally be on site, however 1-2 days a week could be offered working from home (this is not the preference) Our client is looking for someone who can integrate with a team. After this role is complete, there will be the chance to apply for a permanent position as a Team Leader. For this, you will need to have experience working in an FE College and have experience in line management.

Duties of the position:

  • Create content for the FE College, and its multiple websites
  • Support with projects within the Marketing Team
  • Maintain and update websites
  • Assist in all Communications and Content Creation
  • Offer cohesive multi-channel marketing campaigns across all target markets

What you need:

  • Degree and/or comparable professional qualification (Qualification in Marketing is desirable)
  • Full and valid UK driving licence
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience of liaising confidently with a range of stakeholders, building effective relationships
  • Understanding the importance of delivering excellent customer service and gathering and acting on feedback
  • Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion in work and the learning environment
