An excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager has arisen onsite with one of our clients an MOD research facility. Successful applicants will have experience working in a nuclear or similar industrial facilities delivering integrated facility designs, with appropriate safety documentation.
Engineering Manager - Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivery in terms of quality, meeting requirements, safety, value for money and schedule.
- Ensure that the Engineering Requirements are suitable & appropriate.
- Assess the suitability of engineering design resources to execute facility design.
- Lead, drive, communicate and deliver Facility Designs, with due regard to safety, quality, schedule, cost effectiveness and lifetime value for money.
Engineering Manager - Required Experience & Qualifications
- Strong background in an EC&I/Mechanical facilities engineering background.
- Manufacturing lifecycle design experience.
- Project/process management & engineering management experience.
- Stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Kanban, mechanical interlocks, gloveboxes.
- Be eligible to obtain DV level Security Clearance..
