We are looking for an bright eyed and bushy tailed A-Level Psychology and Criminology Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of both subjects and be able to inspire students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Psychology and Criminology to A-Level students.
- Develop and implement engaging schemes of work and lesson plans that cater to a range of abilities.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to stimulate learning and encourage student participation.
- Assess, record, and report on students' progress and development.
- Provide a supportive and positive classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole-school activities.
- Keep up-to-date with developments in the subjects and teaching methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Psychology and Criminology at A-Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for both Psychology and Criminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
